Doomsday 2012: the End of Days: An examination of the forecasts that discuss the end of the world, including the ancient Mayan calendar, the medieval predictions of Merlin, the Book of Revelation in the Bible, and the Chinese oracle of the I Ching. Considers whether December 21, 2012 will be the end of time. Mayan doomsday prophecy: The Maya were legendary astronomers and timekeepers. They tracked stars and planets and assigned great meaning to astronomical phenomena, making a 2012 doomsday prediction.
